Prince George, B.C. – Neighbourhood residents, loyal patrons and others welcomed the Wilson Square Community Farmers Market to its new location adjacent to the Native Friendship Centre on Saturday.

Close to 30 vendors were on hand for opening day of the new season, which runs until fall.  While organizers are looking at a compliment of 60 regular vendors for the season some were not on hand because their produce and other goods are not yet ready to sell.

The Wilson Square Community Farmers Market operates from 8:30 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.  However, there is a chance that may be expanded if association members decide to go that route at a future general membership meeting.
