Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its 2017 Business Excellence Awards (BEA).

Starting this week, you can tell the Chamber which local businesses you love by clicking here. There are 10 categories and nominations will remain open until May 19.

This year’s awards will ‘Ditch the Dinner’ – instead, the 2017 Gala will feature a theatre-style awards ceremony with live production numbers and a red carpet. There will also be an official after-party once the awards have been handed out.

Also, new this year will be the Chamber’s voting procedures – at the BEA Nominee’s Luncheon on September 12, all attendees will have the opportunity to cast their vote on a new paper ballot.

More details about the Gala will be released in the coming months.
