Prince George, B.C. – The search continues for missing 55-year-old Prince George resident Roberta Marie Sims.

Roberta was reported missing last weekend and hasn’t been seen for close to two weeks. Police are calling her disappearance “very suspicious and out of character.”

“Investigators are concerned that she may have met with foul play,” says Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass. “The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has been called in to lead the investigation.”

He’s also asking anyone with any information about her – including her recent and regular activities – to contact police at 250-561-3300.

Roberta is described as:

  • Caucasian female
  • 55-years-old
  • Five foot four
  • 154 pounds
  • Long strawberry-blonde hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Several tattoos including on her left upper arm, her right upper chest and a robin bird on the right side of her neck

Douglass says Roberta usually had her small dog her as well (see attached photo).

“Although her dog and vehicle have been located, investigators would also like to speak to anyone that may have seen her or her vehicle since May 1,” he says.

He’s also asking business owners and managers to check video surveillance. Roberta drives a red 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer with four doors and bearing license plate BH248X (see attached photo).

Roberta, who often goes by the first name Robin, may also go by the first name Bobby and the last names Chambers or Jacobson.
