Burns Lake, B.C. – One person has been charged in connection with a homicide at Francois Lake this week.

North District Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says 66-year-old Albert Giesbrecht has been charged with 1^st-degree murder in the death of 59-year-old Raymond George Bishop.

Bishop was found dead on the south side of Francois Lake early yesterday morning. Police aren’t releasing any more details at this time.

Saunderson says Giesbrecht is scheduled to make his next court appearance next Tuesday in Provincial Court in Burns Lake.
