Thousands Without Power in P.G. Area

Prince George, B.C. – Strong winds have left around 4,000 BC Hydro customers in the dark in Prince George and its surrounding areas.
Over 1,500 of the outages are east of Driftwood Road, north of Pumphouse Road and South of Turner Road.
A further 1,300 are without power east of Catherine Drive and North of Cranbrook Hill Road and another 587 are in the Shelley area, east of the city. (for a full list of outages click here).
No word from BC Hydro on when power is expected to be restored.
According to Environment Canada, heavy winds are expected to hit 80 kilometres per hour this afternoon and up to 50 tomorrow.

that was one heck of a windstorm… be safe guys… I hate lectricity…even hate paying my lectricity bill..but is a must ;)
