Bike to School/Work Week
Prince George, B.C. – The weather could not be better for today’s launch of Bike to School Week in Prince George. In fact, conditions are expected to be great for cycling for most of the event today through Friday.
Bike to School Week, presented through a partnership between the PG Cycling Club, the Brain Injured Group and PG Air, is having its kick-off from 1 to 4 pm today at The Exploration Place. There will be a number of booths set up by local bike shops, vendors, information on Safe Cycling, training programs, a bus demonstration, snacks and beverages and a Bike Rodeo hosted by the Brain Injured Group.
So that’s today. And the official kick-off to Bike to Work Week will take place with a big breakfast Monday morning at City Hall. Mayor Lyn Hall will be on hand to open things up at 7 am.
