Police Seek Help in Locating Wanted Man

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George are calling on the public for assistance in locating a man wanted  on several  offences.

29  year old Dustin Cecil Murray of Prince George, is wanted for the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Assault (2 counts)
  • Fail to Comply with Probation (4 counts)

These charges stem from an incident that occurred on September 1st, 2016 just before 1:00 PM when Police responded to a report of an assault in progress on Upland Street in Prince George.

Officers attended and located an adult female victim, but the suspect,  had fled the scene prior to arrival.  Murray has also breached release conditions from previous Criminal Code investigations.

Investigators believe Murray is still in Prince George and may be living near the 2400 block of Upland Street.  Police also believe that persons known to him may be helping him  evade arrest. Anyone assisting a known wanted person can be subject to charges under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Dustin Cecil Murray is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 185 cm (6’1″)
  • 70 kg (155 lbs)
  • Brown hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Tattoo of the word “LIFE” on the right side of his neck

Police say Murray should be considered VIOLENT.  They advise that if Murray is located,  contact the RCMP immediately and  do not confront Murray.
