Quesnel, B.C. –  A 46 year old man has been arrested in Quesnel  in connection with a break in at the Royal Canadian Legion .

The  Legion in Quesnel was  broken into  early yesterday morning.

A suspect was identified,  and later that afternoon,  an arrest was made.

A 46 year old man  is scheduled to appear in  court  on August 8th, charged with the offence.

“The RCMP shares the public’s outrage that an institution, such as the Legion, was victimized in this incident” says Staff Sergeant Andrew Burton,  Commander of the Quesnel RCMP  Detachment.  “We would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating this male.”
