Happy Canada Day from Ecole Lac des Bois students and the Prince George RCMP

Prince George, B.C. – What would be a great way to wish Happy Birthday to Canada and Canadians?

Well, some folks at the Prince George detachment of the RCMP put their heads together with some of the people at Ecole Lac des Bois Elementary School and decided to produce the picture you see above as a tribute.

Some of the detachment’s officers got together with 450 Kindergarten to Grade 7 students outside the school and created this monster maple leaf.  The message?  We are truly fortunate to be Canadian and enjoy the many benefits that our country has to offer.  And they hope you enjoy the display as much as they enjoyed making it.
