Prince George, B.C. – The BC Wildfire Service says the fire sparked last night about two kilometres west of Otway Nordic Centre is now out.

The cause hasn’t been determined though it started last night shortly after the brief lightning storm in Prince George.

Three firefighters were deployed to the scene. No word on how big the fire was.

A news conference has been scheduled for 1 this afternoon to update the wildfire situation provincially.
