Prince George, B.C. – The Regional District of Fraser Fort George has allowed residents of Lamar Road in Beaverly to return to their property.

The evacuation alert issued for  residents in the area of the McBride Timber Road South remains in effect as a  precautionary measure.  Crews are  undertaking burn off  treatment of the fire  that reached 10 hectares in size.

The next update is expected tomorrow morning  after 9 a.m.
