Fire on Quince Street

Prince George, B.C. – Fire  ripped through a motorhome on Quince street last  night.

Prince George Fire Rescue says  the flames  broke out  just before midnight in an older model  class “C” motor home  in the 2300 block of Quince Street.

The flames had  spread to a two story  side by side duplex.

A fast attack knocked down the fire down and prevented the flames from entering the interior of the duplex.

One occupant was home at the time of the fire and was escorted out by fire personnel.

No injuries to the occupant or fire personnel.

The motor home was  destroyed and the duplex sustained light charring under the tin siding.

Damage is estimated to be  in the range of $6,000.   The  cause of the fire  is under investigation.
