Prince George, B.C. –The Prince George Public Library will be the site of another Pop-Up U.S. consulate later this month.

It’s being organized by the United States Consulate General in Vancouver and will take place July 27 at the library’s Bob Harkins branch.

Consulate staff at the venue will accept passport and Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications and provide notarial services.

The session will take place on the 2^nd Floor Study Room from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and builds on the success of their first visit to Prince George in March when they assisted 25 families (40 Americans total).

“When we hosted the first U.S. Pop-Up Consulate in Prince George last March, we saw a lot of interest from American citizens who saved time and money by not having to travel to Vancouver to renew their passports or receive other services,” says Vice Consul Ingrid Specht.

“We’ve received several inquiries about our next visit, and we’re thrilled to be back this month to assist more American families in the community.”
