PG Fire Rescue Attends Redwood Street Blaze

Prince George, B.C. – City of Prince George firefighters make quick work of a fire reported outside a house on Redwood Street this morning.
Fire crews were sent to an address in the 1800 block Redwood around 8:30 am after a report was received from a person who said they saw flames and smoke emanating from an outside wall of the house. Firefighters used foam and water to extinguish the fire.
Five people in the main floor of the house escaped along with a man and a dog who were residing in the basement of the home. No injuries have been reported in this fire.
Damage has been pegged at $5,000. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
