BC Wildfire Service Has Interactive Map of Fires

Prince George, B.C. – The BC Wildfire Service has made it a little easier to find the latest information on the major fires burning in the Province.
The wildfire map, which shows locations of wildfires of note, and new fires, is now interactive.
Anyone can click on any of the flame or dot markers, and get the latest information on that particular fire.
Typically, fire information is updated between 8:30 and 10 every morning.
You can click on the image at right to access the interactive map. It may take a few seconds to load so be patient.

The USDA Forest Service also has a very nifty application that uses Google Earth to show fire size, location, etc. You do need to install Google Earth on your device to make it work.
