100 Mile House, B.C. – A 100 Mile house man has been arrested for being Unlawfully in a Evacuation Zone. RCMP officers, conducting general duty patrols in the evacuated town of 100 Mile House, were alerted to the male when they observed a light flick on and off in a residence in a Watson Lake Road Subdivision of 105 Mile House.

Officers went to investigate the source of the light and found an insecure door, with a bicycle outside.

A  51 year old man, was found hiding in the back yard of the residence and arrested without incident, for Being Unlawfully in an Evacuated Zone and Trespass at night. Further investigation has revealed that the male had been asked to go to the residence by the home owner, to check on, and feed a pet that had been left behind.
