Evacuee Number Climbs

Prince George, B.C. – Although the evacuation order for some areas of the South Cariboo has been lifted, the number of evacuees in Prince has hit a new high.
As of late yesterday, there were 9500 evacuees in Prince George, the number climbing because of the birth rate.
Eight babies have been born to women who have been displaced to Prince George because of the evacuation order.
In all, there are nearly 1800 children among the total number of evacuees in P.G.

It would be interesting to know if any of the any evacuees will decide to relocate to Prince George now that they have seen first hand how amazing the people here are.
It would also be interesting to know how many of the 9500 evacuees have never been to PG before.
