CRD Takes Another Step to Normal Operations

Prince George, B.C-  With  some evacuees  able to return to their  homes  in the  south Cariboo,  that regional district  is getting  normal operations  back up to speed.

The Cariboo Regional District  says landfills and transfer stations that service the 100 Mile and 108 Mile area are  resuming normal  operating hours  and that curbside  pick up  is scheduled to  resume this week.

108 mile curbside garbage and recycling pick up will resume on Wed and Thurs of this week while the District of 100 Mile curbside collection will resume on Tuesday.

The evacuation order was lifted  for 108 Mile and 100 Mile House  residents on  Saturday.   While the order has been  lifted,   the areas remain on evacuation alert and residents have been advised they   should be prepared to leave at a moments notice should the  situation change.
