Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Fire Rescue responded to an early morning fire at the Sunrise Valley Mobile Trailer Park on Landsdowne Road.

Acting Assistant Fire Chief Peter Brbot says they arrived on scene at around midnight.

“First arriving crews found four mobile homes on fire in the park. A fast attack knocked the fires down and stopped the fire from reaching more homes. One of the mobile homes was vacant and the rest were occupied.”

He says all occupants escaped without injury though three trailers sustained major damage and one some exposure damage.

Brbot estimates the loss at $100,000. He says the cause is under investigation.

I’ve seen that area, have a hard time believing 4 trailers could be 100k in damages unless 4 new vehicles were destroyed along with it.

So you can see the contents and you have read their insurance coverage of what they have..good for you..

It may appear to be trash to you, but it was a home to them. It was a place where they had refuge.

Making in appropriate comments of other peoples misfortune, usually gets Karma coming back at you.

    $25,000 is not unreasonable.

    sorry for their loss.

Well said!! He spoke

So darn sad for the three families, hope they make out okay. Wish ’em well, and sure hope they had insurance.
