Prince George, B.C.- The Sutherland Road fire,  north of Fort Fraser is now  under control.

The  evacuation alert and area restrictions have been rescinded.

The fire,  which was first reported  July 7th,  has consumed an estimated  1590 hectares.

The B.C. wildfire Service  says the fire is 95% contained, and  lists  the status of this fire as “under control”.
