Evacuees Needing Transportation Have to Register
Prince George, B.C. – Wildfire evacuees who are returning home to the Williams Lake area and who need a ride, are being asked to register for that trip.Buses will be leaving Prince George tomorrow, carrying people, their pets and other belongings.
Any evacuee staying in Prince George (other than in group lodging) and who is in need of transportation to Williams Lake, is required to pre register at the Emergency reception Centre at the College of New Caledonia today.
Those who are group lodging at the Northern Sport Centre are asked to pre-register at the Northern Sport Centre today.
Evacuees choosing to stay in Prince George for medical reasons, need to visit the Emergency Reception Centre at the College of New Caledonia if they want to continue receiving financial support for services such as lodging and groceries beyond the expiry of their current vouchers.
