Highway 27 Update

Prince George, B.C. – Traffic is moving once again on Highway 27 between Vanderhoof and Fort St. James, although currently on a reduced basis.

Single-lane, alternating traffic is now being moved through an accident site, 27.6 kilometres north of the junction with Highway 16.  That was the location of a motor vehicle accident at approximately 3:10 this morning which resulted in a loss of power to 119 homes in the area.

Vanderhoof RCMP responded to and have been conducting the investigation into the accident but, as yet, have not been available to provide information on the accident.
