Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Regional District has announced an expansion of the Evacuation Alert for the Blackwater River/Nazko area.

This alert expands and replaces the Blackwater River Area Alert issued on Thursday.  The expanded alert area can be found on the map at http://bit.ly/2vi1cHe.  And further information is available at www.cariboord.ca

Meantime the CRD also announces an Evacuation Order expansion for Clisbako Area #1.  The Evacuation Order is in effect for the following area:

The evacuation route is Baezaeko Road to Nazko Road into Quesnel.

Rersidents must evacuate immediately and register at the ESS Centre at 500 North Star Road in Quesnel.
