Prince George, B.C. – One person has died in a crash on highway 16 east,   east of Slim Creek.

A one ton pick up hauling a trailer   went off the highway  around 7 this morning.   One person is dead,  two others  have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Highway 16  is down to single lane alternating traffic as  RCMP  investigate the cause of the crash.  There is  no word on when the highway will be fully re-opened.
