Evacuation Order Issued by Bulkley-Nechako Regional District – Update
Prince George, B.C. – The Bulkley-Nechako Regional District has issued an Evacuation Order which is effective as of 5 pm today, August 11th.
The Evacuation Order has been issued for the area South of Chedakuz Forest Service Road, west to the boundary of Entiako Provincial Park, and southeast to the border of the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako Electoral Area “D” (Fraser Lake Rural), including Ootsa Extension Forest Service Road.
Residents covered by this order are to leave immediately and are to register at the Emergency Social Services Centre in Williams Lake at Boitano Mall, or in Quesnel at 500 North Star Road, between 8 am and 4 pm. For group lodging register at the ESS Reception Centre in Prince George at the Civic Centre at 808 Canada Games Way.

At this time the RDBN Evacuation Order area can be evacuated east via the Ootsa Forest Service Road, then north on the Kluskus FSR toward Vanderhoof.
