BC Hydro Crews Working on Several Small Outages
Prince George, B.C. – BC Hydro line crews are busy dealing with power outages in and around a number of interior communities today.
In Prince George, outages are reported on Maureen Road and Maureen Drive as well as the McBride Timber Road. Those outages are under investigation as to cause. About ten customers are reported without power.
Down in the Quesnel area there are 144 customers reported out north of Quesnel Hixon Road and east of Alcock Road. Cause of that outage also unknown. Ten customers are out on the Nazko Road after Hydro wires went down.
A total of 20 customers are affected by outages on Jardine Road, Aaron Road, Blackwater Road and the Lakes District Road in the Vanderhoof area. No cause available for those outages.
And out Smithers way, 607 customers along Highway 16 west and south of Highway 37 are without power as Hydro does some work on its equipment.
