Fire on Upland

Prince George, B.C.- An early morning fire on Upland Street in Prince George has caused  about $35 thousand  dollars  worth of  damage to a motor home and adjacent house.

The fire was reported shortly after 4 this morning .

Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the 1900 block of Upland to find a an older  lass “A” Winnebago motorhome fully  engulfed in flames, and that the flames had spread to the home.

Firefighters  were able to  knock down the flames quickly.

The fire was contained to the  exterior of the  building  and  some light charring to  the entry.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries to fire personnel.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
