Monday, August 14, 2017 @ 11:28 AM

Prince George, B.C. – RCMP in Prince George are hoping the public can provide some information to help them  locate two suspects wanted in connection with an incident on the weekend in which  a man was  slashed.

Around 8:15 Friday night,  a man was  assaulted on Queensway near Moyie Street.

When police arrived on scene, they discovered an adult male suffering  from  what appeared to be a slash to the leg from an edged weapon.   The male was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Although still under investigation, the initial belief is that the victim and an adult female were walking in the area when they were confronted by another male and female. An argument ensued and the victim was injured by the male suspect.  The motive for the incident is not known at this time and it does not appear that the suspects and victims knew each other.  The suspects were not located.

The male suspect was described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Heavier build
  • Below average height
  • Short blonde hair and a beard
  • Wearing all grey clothing

The female suspect was described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Heavier build
  • Approximately 5’6″
  • Dark sandy blonde hair
  • Wearing black pants and a black shirt with blue writing
