Prince George, B.C. – While the central U.S. will  experience a total eclipse,   the event over Prince George will   produce about 75% coverage of the sun.

The event is  expected to start around 9:15  this morning, but with the forecast calling for clouds and showers,  area residents may not see much at all,  although  it will get noticeably darker during the   peak of the event.
