Police Launch Homicide Investigation
Prince George, B.C. – The discovery of a body over the weekend has prompted a homicide investigation in Prince George.
Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says it started yesterday following the discovery of a body at 8 a.m. on Noranda Road.
“General Duty officers and the BC Coroners Service attended the scene and located a deceased adult male in a vehicle,” he says. “The Detachment’s Serious Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section, were called in to investigate what is now believed to be a homicide.”
Douglass says the investigation is in its early stages and further updates may be provided as the investigation progresses.
