Two Charged in Rural B & E Case
Prince George, B.C. – Two Prince George men are facing a string of charges connected to a number of break and enters in rural areas west of Prince George, including Norman Lake.
Last week, Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant on the rental van seized by police following the arrests. (see previous story)
Dozens of items were located including a SKS rifle, a revolver handgun, power tools and an ATV.
A subsequent search at a residence on Wilson Crescent in Prince George lead to the discovery of a number of items, including a rifle, shotgun, ammunition, power tools, bicycles, chainsaws and computers. Some of the items have already been confirmed to have been stolen.
A search of a van parked on the property also uncovered a number of items , including, two outboard motors, a generator, a compressor, and a vacuum. Again, some of the items have been confirmed to have been stolen.
30 year old David Michael O’Neill of Prince George has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Assault Police Officer
- Resist Arrest
- Possession of Ammunition while Prohibited
30 year old Edward Gary Felix, also of Prince George, has been charged with :
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Resist Arrest
Further charges are possible.
Investigators are still hoping the rightful owners will come forward to identify their property says Corporal Craig Douglass “We are asking the public to check their properties and report Break & Enters and stolen property including serial numbers.”
