Prince George BC -A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Prince George Quesnel the Cariboo and the MacGregir regions.

Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, damaging hail and heavy rain.

Radar indicates that thunderstorms are developing currently over the Central Interior west of Quesnel and Prince George and are expected to continue northeast this evening. As they advance they have the potential to become severe and are forecast to weaken later this evening.
