Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Cougars’ training camp for the 2017-18 Western Hockey League season has opened at CN Centre.

The Young Guns game was held Friday night and scrimmages, which are open to the public and free of charge, are being held at 10 am, 12:15, 2:30, 4:45 and 7 pm both today and Sunday.

Training camp will wrap up with the annual Black vs White game Monday night at 7 pm.  The teams will battle it out for the Rob Charney Cup, named for the long-time Cougars’ scout who passed away in 2013.

Admission to the Black-White game is free as well.

The Cougars open the pre-season against Edmonton next Friday in Red Deer and will host the Spokane Chiefs in their regular season opener on September 22nd.
