Prince George, B.C. – The UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team opens its home season with a pair of games this weekend.

It’s the opening action of the 2017 Canada West season for both sides as the Timberwolves face the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack in a weekend doubleheader.  They’ll battle at 1 pm this afternoon and meet again at 1 Sunday afternoon.

The Timberwolves had a 4-10-2 record in 2016 while TRU compiled a 6-9-1 mark.

The UNBC women’s team opens at home against TRU on Friday, September 8th and will face UBC Okanagan here on Sunday, September 10th.
