UNBC Set for Move In Day
Prince George, B.C. – Tomorrow is a big day at the University of Northern B.C. as students move into residence, ready to take on another academic year.
This year, UNBC expects to have 2,683 under graduate students, that’s a slight increase from enrolment a year ago when 2,607 students were enrolled at the university .
Move In day kicks off a series of orientation events including a welcome for parents.
Students living off campus are invited to a social being held downtown, while those in residence are invited to an ice cream social this evening.
Over the next couple of days, there will be plenty of opportunity for new students to have fun, get familiar with the campus and the classrooms and generate school spirit.
Orientation wraps up Tuesday evening with a coffeehouse music event in the Wintergarden.
