Prince George, B.C. – Prince George will join over twenty communities across the province this weekend in hosting the Parkinson SuperWalk, the largest fundraising event held annually by the Parkinson Society of British Columbia.

The Prince George walk is being held between 12 noon and 3 pm today at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park to raise money for research and support services through pledges and corporate sponsorships.

This year PSBC has a goal of attracting over 2,400 walkers and raising $460,000.  Besides research, money raised goes to providing programs and services for the 13,300 individuals and their families who live with the disease.
