Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Regional District will downgrade the Highway 24 corridor evacuation order to an alert at 2 pm today, allowing residents to return to their homes at that time.

Residents are reminded that wildfire activity continues in that area and must be prepared in case of the issuance of an evacuation order which may require them to leave on short notice.
