Putting the Garden, and this Column to Rest
Gardening is a hobby that grows on you.
It is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, exercise, and de-stress, and for those gardeners with edible gardens an economical and tasty way of life! I have enjoyed sharing my love of gardening and knowledge with the readers for the past twelve years.
Gardening is always changing with new plants, varieties, and products and I am always learning as I try to keep up with all the changes. I want to thank Ben and Elaine for giving me the opportunity to be a part of 250 news. It has been an honour. Ben was one of the first people I knew when I first came to Prince George 38 years ago and we became friends. I enjoyed listening to him and have always respected his opinion, although on a rare occasion I may not have agreed with it. He and Elaine also enjoyed gardening and they had beautiful begonias and there was always the challenge of who grew the best, biggest, and earliest English cucumbers!
As this is my last article for 250 News, I along with my family and staff, wish Elaine all the best for the future. May you always find happiness in everything you do and may everything you do be a success!
