The actual figures of just what the city has used up from its borrowing reserves will be released today.
City Staff had prepared a report after the last council meeting when Councilor Brian Skakun asked just how much of the credit line had been used up. City Staff said they would compile that information in the wake of borrowing bylaws which have been given third reading, clearing the way for the City to borrow $27 and a half million dollars.
The CIty is already carrying the load of the Terasen Gas deal, and may need to borrow money to repair or replace the Cameron Street Bridge.
The report on the City's debt load has been forwarded to George Paul and is expected to be released to Councilors and the public later today.
