Gas prices finally low enough to "fit" on the Big Boards!

Gas prices continue to slide in Prince George.

They are now below the dollar a litre mark, a place they haven't been since August.

At 99.9 cents a litre in Prince George,  the price has slipped three cents a litre in  a week,  nearly 20 cents a litre since early September.

Still,  MJ Ervin and Associates pegged Prince George as number 6 in the country last week for gas prices.  Here's how the  top six  stacked up:

Whitehorse,  before tax 90.8 cents per liter     with tax $114.5
Yellowknife   before tax 89.9 cents per liter     with tax  $118.3
Timmins        before tax  72.4 cents per litre     with tax  $103.9
Kelowna        before tax  71.9  cents per litre    with tax  $103.2
Brandon        before tax  71.7  cents per litre    with tax       99.7
Prince George   before tax  70.7 cents per litre  with tax  $101.9

Last week the national average  was (before tax) 60cents per litre, and with tax, 92.8 cents per litre.
