Prince George, B.C.- The city of Prince George will be the Host City for the Annual Trans Canada -Yellowhead Highway Association’s Annual General meeting and conference next May.

The Conference will bring delegates from the four western provinces to talk about issues as they impact the communities along the Yellowhead Highway.

Although the route was originally a fur traders route for the Hudson’s Bay Company, it is now viewed as the green corridor and a vital thread in the transportation plan linked to the Port of Prince Rupert.

Could someone tell me why Highway 5 from Tete Jaune to Kamloops is signed as part of the Yellowhead? This to me is not part of the Yellowhead route that was originally used by fur traders.
