It was a union job, but if it was non union that would sure make it easier for faithless to crow about some poor dude having a fire and loosing money.

Free enterprise does not mean we work for free. Sometimes we charge more - sometimes less. The difference is we are free to choose and don't have some dick-doo telling us what to charge.

It comes down to the people, not whether or not someone is union. Being union is not a guarantee of better workmanship.
That kind of talk is union propaganda, and those who blindly follow that kind of thinking are pawns to the union executive. High quality installations come from high quality people, beginning with leadership and consistency. By the way, I am a union member, working for a unionized company, so there!

The big question everyone has is where does the green wire go ..... There is a 14.3% failure rate on that question in electrician training ....... This must have been one of the electricians who failed that question.
