The hospital will switch to back-up generator power during the overnight hours July 29th, 30th and 31st while staff upgrade the facility’s main electrical systems.
The first phase of work will take place from 9:00 PM tonight until 6:00 AM tomorrow. The second and third phases of the upgrade project will take place from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM July 30th and 31st. The hospital will switch to power from its back-up generators during these periods.
Patients and visitors may notice reduced lighting levels inside and outside of the hospital (including parking lot lighting), and some elevators will be out of service. Extra security staff will be available for parking lot escorts and patrols.
