Man Beaten On George In PG

Prince George - At 1.00am this morning four males in a Red Explorer truck stopped the vehicle at the corner of 3^rd and George, bailed out and began assaulting a 35 year old Prince George man. He was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Meantime at around the same time a pickup truck was stolen from a Baldy Hughes resident. The truck was recovered later in College Heights.

Baldy Hughes? A soon to be haven fer recovering druggies? Stolen truck? Someone beaten up at one o'clock in the morning? Hmmm? I suspect drugs /money were involved. I could be wrong. Not enough "ducks" in a row?

Baldy Hughes already up and running and I suspect the downtown beating was the work of the new clean up the downtown commission

I don't belive this could happen anywhere near George Street or "downtown" I just don't believe it.
