Helicopter Crash Claims Four Lives

Prince George, B.C. – A helicopter crash in Prince Rupert claimed the lives of four people at approximately 8:30 this morning.
 
Four occupants travelling in the coastal waters of Alice Arm and the Kitsault River were on board at the time of the crash. All have been located, however names will not be released until next of kin are notified.
 
The Canadian Coast Guard, R.C.M.P and the Marine Section of the R.C.M.P are on scene continuing to assist with recovery efforts.
 
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.

Condolences.
I know way too many people who fly out of Rupert on fixed wind and helicopters,and stuff like this scares the hell out of me!
I was asked to bring a Hughes 500 across to Prince Rupert from Massit, but I said I wasn't interested. I hate flying over water! At least when you are using a water bucket you have the door off and are close to shore.


Maybe if you were a chopper pilot instead of a water boy, it wouldn't be all that scary flying over water. ;)
