The business manager of the Prince George Cougars, Brandy Brodsky, says after the first month of broadcasting the Cougars Away games on the internet, "We are right up there with the cities of Calgary and Vancouver for viewers".

Brodsky says all of the arenas in the WHL have purchased web cameras and it was "Natural for us to televise our games. We take the audio from the play by play" she said "then feed it into the streaming audio to send you a live web broadcast."

Brodsky says " At lot of people who have members of their family in the league love to watch them play."  But the big draw, she says has been the local fans.

Local fans can purchase the live play by play web feed for $5.95; those holding season tickets pay less.

"This new service", said Brodsky, "covers the entire WHL network and we at the Cougars are really happy to be a part of it."

Tonight’s televised game features the Cougars visiting the Kelowna Rockets, the two top teams in this division .
