Severe Thunderstorm Watch

Prince George, B.C. – Enjoy the warm weather this morning, severe thunderstorms are on their way for the afternoon.
Jim Steele from Environment Canada, says unstable air is moving in from the south, “The high pressure gave us a glimpse of summer, however that is now shipping east. Hopefully everyone had early tee times!”
Although there is a high of 28 degrees today, heavy showers and large hail is expected with winds reaching up to 80km/hr.
Saturday may not be much better with clouds, showers and a chance for more thunderstorms.
Sunday is expected to cool to 15 degrees, but good news is on the way as the high pressure returns next week and we may see 22 to 23 degrees.
