On the left side of the stage, ladies and gents we have the new candidates yakking about "downtown revitalization". On the right side of the stage we have other naive incumbents who will address zoning, prostitution, drugs, taxes, potholes, air quality, bonehead decisions of the incumbent city councilors. In the centre of the stage we have the smiling incumbents. Not much for them to do or say except to say," Vote for me. You know my name". Ho hum. Nothing will change and we will look forward to doing it again in years to come.
- Plans for developing the river front...
- Trade infrastructure connections with our northern neighbors...
- Ring road construction plans...

- Future industrial site planning that is consistent with air quality concerns...
- City and regional economic planing especially to utilize new infrastructure developments...
- The appropriate location for bio-fuel projects in and around PG.
- The issue of gambling in this town and how that should be managed...
- The issue of quality low income housing in the city...
- The low quality of road maintenance in the city...
- Do or do not build a performing arts center...
- The issue of absentee land owners having voting rights in our city determining city policy for those of us that live here...

- Crime in the downtown VLA area and how this can be addressed.

IMO these are just some of the issues that should be debated and talked about prior to the next election... with the type of media we have in this town (other than Opinion250) we can be sure these issues will not be debated and instead we will have a clever name recognition campaign IMO....
