Prince George, B.C. - One person has been injured after two house fires that occurred  last night on Panda Street in Bear Lake.

The Bear Lake volunteer fire department and R.C.M.P were dispatched to the fire after receiving a 9-1-1 call that a fire was occurring at an abandoned house. The fire was extinguished, however a second call at approximately 4:30 this morning sent the fire department and R.C.M.P back out to the house next to the original fire.

One adult female had been pulled from the fire and airlifted to Vancouver for medical treatment. Her name is being withheld at this time.

The B.C. Fire Commissioners Office and the RCMP expect the investigation to last up to several days as they wait for access to the debris to be deemed safe.
