Prince George, B.C. - Bree-Anna Robertson, a former CNC student, has donated a $7,000 accessible washroom lift to the College of New Caledonia.

“Bree’s generosity has made the college more accessible for everyone,” said Mellhina Dragusica, a counsellor in CNC’s Disabilities Services department.

“We like the fact that we can help everybody,” said Terry Robertson, Bree-Anna’s mother.

The lift will make it easier for students with disabilities and those who have trouble supporting their own weight to safely use the handicapped washroom on the ground floor near CNC’s Counselling department. Bree-Anna was able to access funding for the lift through APSD, a provincial program for students with disabilities.

Thanks Bree. It is not until one becomes handicapped that there is an awareness of what a great gift you have given, bless you.
